Rush University Medical Center seeks additional internal medicine and family medicine physicians to join its outpatient clinics in the heart of downtown Chicago and the greater Chicago area.
Responsibilities will include direct patient care and involvement with teaching medical students and residents. These positions provide opportunities for career and academic growth and leadership development. The Division of Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center is academically active and growing. There are more than 50 full-time faculty members who do research and provide a considerable amount of education to medical graduates, medical students and other health care trainees. We provide care at over 10 clinical sites across Chicago and its Western suburbs, including the recent openings of the South Loop and Oak Brook practices. We constantly try to expand our academic, educational and clinical footprint and eagerly collaborate within and outside of Rush Medical College.
The Department of Family Medicine at Rush is a well-established, diverse group with recognized specialty care relationships and office patterns. The team's practice provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages and stages of health, including prevention, patient education, chronic disease self-management and acute medical care. Physicians share 1:6 after-hours call and inpatient rounding responsibilities, maintain outpatient clinical practice and teach Rush University medical students.
Rush's South Loop clinic, at 1411 S. Michigan Ave., provides primary and specialty care services. Opened in fall 2018, the 55,000-square-foot facility features an innovative exam room and workspace layout, full imaging capabilities and a demonstration kitchen, among other features designed to enhance the patient and provider experience.
Rush's Lincoln Park clinic, at 2835 N. Sheffield Ave., provides primary and specialty care services. The office boasts a neighborhood connection and delivers expert care to meet patient needs, lifestyles and beliefs. The space is ideal for collaborating providers and staff and offers an onsite full-service laboratory.
Rush's main campus locations provide primary care services with the opportunity to teach medical students and residents.
Rush's Oak Brook campus, at 2011 York Road, Oak Brook, IL, provides primary and specialty care services. The campus is a Rush health care hub in the Western suburbs, with adult primary care and nearly 20 specialties -- all in a state-of-the-art, 100,000-square-foot facility.
Rush's River North clinic, at 539 N. Dearborn St., provides primary and specialty care services. This clinic is housed in a 10,000-square-foot ground-floor space in the heart of the River North neighborhood.
