ChristianaCare is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner to join our Oncology/Hematology team at our Cecil Campus in Elkton, MD. This is a full-time Monday - Friday position in the office and inpatient rounding.
The selected candidate will be responsible for services that include team-based care management and treatment of Oncology and/or Hematology patients; to include but not limited to care planning, cancer screening/surveillance, chemotherapy symptom management, pain management, patient education, communication with patients and families, ensuring continuity of care across range of clinical settings, attention of spiritual comfort and psychosocial support, bereavement support, and hospice care.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioners Program
Three years of experience of a NP preferred.
Oncology, symptom management, triage and urgent care experience preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
License or license eligible in the state of Maryland and Delaware BLS certified
