At Hospice of Redmond our mission is to enhance the quality of life for patients and families by providing the highest level of compassionate hospice, Transitions, Palliative Care and Bereavement services for our Central Oregon community.
SUMMARYThe Hospice Medical Director is responsible for providing for providing overall medical leadership and clinical expertise to the organization for the purpose of ensuring quality end of life care to patients. This position will facilitate a culture of collaboration among all medical and nursing staff involved with hospice patient care and ensure integration of primary and palliative medicine by building relationships with referring PCPs and specialists. This position is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team and the Medical Director attends IDT meetings as scheduled, providing medical oversight, guiding the work of the clinical team, and assuring compliance with best practice standards of care for hospice.
