The Director of Radiology has the responsibility for supervising all aspects of Imaging to include Radiology, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, CT, Breast Center, and Transportation. The Director ensures competent staff are scheduled to meet patient and department needs, maintains appropriate supplies, and all equipment is functioning properly. The Director ensures compliance with all regulating requirements, DHS, Joint Commission, Title 22, and Radioactive Materials License (RAML). The Director works collaboratively with the Medical Director and the Department Radiologists while adhering to all Hospital policies and procedures.
Education and Experience Required: Knowledge and education necessary to obtain CRT licensure and current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred: Bachelorâ��s Degree in a related field preferred. 5 years supervising experience in Radiology. Fluoroscopy Permit preferred.
