Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital- Medical/Surgical ICU (Acute Care Required)- FT Nights
The Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team. The NP provides healthcare in critical care settings, including surgical and medical ICUs. The NP has didactic education, clinical competency and national certification in identified area of clinical practice. The NP demonstrates medical knowledge, clinical judgment, technical competence, professionalism, interpersonal communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and is responsible for professional development and competency validation. The NP has an advanced knowledge of nursing theory and application.
The Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital Critical Care Department located at 1411 W Baddour Pkwy, Lebanon, TN is a 12 bed mixed medical and surgical Intensive Care Unit. Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital (formerly Tennova Healthcare - Lebanon) has been a place of healing and connection for patients and families in Wilson County and the surrounding area. The two-campus facility is the sole provider of inpatient and outpatient medical services in Wilson County. The Adv. Practice Team will provide 24- hour coverage in collaboration with an Intensive Care physician and multidisciplinary health care team. We provide critical care services to adults with a variety of critical illness. We are looking for motivated, self-directed team members who are committed to patient care excellence within a collaborative and compassionate environment that promotes teaching and learning for both patients and team members.
