We are seeking an RN to join our Operating Room (OR) team which includes surgical technologist, nursing assistants, schedulers, instrument technicians and MD's ! Surgeries in this unit are team based amongst these specialties:
This nursing position works 80 hours every 2 weeks. Currently, schedule includes:8 hour shifts, weekday call as needed, 1 weekend shift (ususally call) per schedule period. This position is benefit eligible.
Demonstrates the ability to establish an environment of safety for the surgical patient
Demonstrates the ability to assess, diagnose, implement and evaluate treatments and procedures that contribute to the physiological stability of the surgical patient.
May serve as a circulator or scrub during operative procedures. Demonstrates knowledge about the psychologic, sociologic, and spiritual responses of patients and their families to the operative or other invasive procedure.
