Join the dynamic Cardiomyopathy team as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). In collaboration with the supervising physician, attending physicians, fellows, and residents, the NP is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for patients in the Cardiomyopathy Center. The NP will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, tumor boards, and provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals. Document services rendered.
The Nurse Practitioner reports to the designated medical director for clinical practice and designated person for administrative issues.
