UCan do all this and more at UCLA Health.Reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee the following military medicine programs/endowments: UCLA Operation Mend; UCLA Warrior Care Network; and the Ronald A. Katz Center for Collaborative Military Medicine. The Katz Center is an endowed fund committed to innovation and research in the field of defense, armed service safety/protection and comprehensive care for current and veteran US armed service personnel. You will also help drive the development of future programs while managing key program responsibilities, including:· Program planning, operations, monitoring and tracking· Finances and funding· Human resources· Information systems· Space/facilitiesThis position involves partnering with clinical and non-clinical program directors to develop and implement program strategic plans, short- and long-range goals, high-level policies and fundraising strategies. You will represent these programs and UCLA Health to external government agencies and network partners.
We’re seeking a flexible, patient-focused, service oriented professional with:· Master’s degree or PhD/PsyD· Ten or more years of healthcare leadership experience· Experience in a large institutional health care environment preferred· Extensive experience with program planning, control, and policy formulation· Ability to manage a diverse and complex set of operational and administrative functions· Financial management expertise, including fund management, budgeting and forecasting· Ability to drive, facilitate and manage change· Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills· Ability to foster collaborative relationships with a wide variety of individuals and groups· Clinical experience a plus· Military service and/or experience with the Department of Defense, Veteran Affairs, etc. highly desirableUCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles as well as the David Geffen School of Medicine.
