The Department of Family & Community Medicine at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking Family Medicine-Obstetrics physicians to join our existing, diverse, and enthusiastic group of 6 family physicians who provide obstetrical care and 12 faculty who provide prenatal care at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center located in Hershey, PA. As the first department of Family and Community Medicine in an academic health center in the United States, we are proud of our history in training Family Medicine providers and providing exceptional care to the communities we serve.
The Family Medicine-Obstetrics opportunity offers the ability to work in a brand new labor and delivery and postpartum area with a diverse patient population, provide independent management on the labor and delivery floor with excellent support from obstetrical colleagues, and the ability to manage high risk patients with consultation support from MFM colleagues. Faculty within the Department of Family & Community Medicine actively participate in resident and medical student education and have opportunities for Primary Care research and scholarship.
