Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385 bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level 2 trauma facility with an innovative , patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department. Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation,joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.

The Director, Nursing- Acute Rehab is fully responsible for the total operation of the inpatient rehabilitation program and acute rehab unit. Included in responsibilities is the direction and coordination of the financial management, operational control, referral development activities and the clinical and quality performance of the program. This position serves as the Program Director for the Inpatient Rehab Facility, and it is incumbent upon the Program Director to work successfully with administration and department heads to achieve the performance goals of the program. This program provides services 7 days a week and works closely with other departments/disciplines to accomplish patient goals. Specialty services to include wound care, orthopedics and neuro-rehab. Access to all Patient Health Information for treatment.
Required:
� Current CA RN license � Bachelor�s degree in Nursing � Current BLS certification � Five (5) years� experience in Acute Rehab (inpatient and/or outpatient) setting � Three (3) years management experience in Acute Rehab (inpatient and/or outpatient) � Strong computer skills in Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) � Demonstrated competence as a leader.
Preferred: � Master�s degree in Nursing
