Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant Neuro ICU Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
Certified Nursing Assistant Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs and changes bed linens.
Certified Nursing Assistant May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store and prepare other supplies.
Certified Nursing Assistant Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Responsibilities

• CNA Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• CNA Works under immediate supervision.
• CNA Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.

Qualifications

Education
Required: High school diploma or GED

Certifications

• BLS
• Possession of a current state or national nurseâ��s aide
• certification or a certification as a phlebotomist, medical technician, patient care technician, medical assistant, EKG tech or in another related field
