Position Summary:We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Physicist, Radiation Therapy-Per Diem
In this role, the successful candidate, under the direction of the Chief Physicist /Director of Cyberknife, provides operational therapeutic radiological physics services as prescribed by the chief physicist of the Division of Radiation Oncology. Assists in the maintenance of the comprehensive physics quality assurance program and other clinical physics programs as established.
Minimum Qualifications:To qualify, you must have a Masters Degree in physics or a related field, required. Must possess a limited permit or license to practice therapeutic radiological medical physics in the state of New York, required.1 - 2 years experience in clinical radiation therapy, either as a dosimetrist or therapy physicist, required. Excellent communication (both written and oral), detail orientation, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills, required. Basic computer skills of MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook, required. Understands the basic operation of all treatment planning systems, required.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified American Board of Radiology (ABR), preferred.
