Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN Assistant Nurse Manager ICU

Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager Registered Nurse / RN coordinates, plans, organizes implements and monitors nursing care of the adult, pediatric and neonatal patient as applicable in accordance with departmental philosophy and objectives. The Assistant Nurse Manager Registered Nurse / RN facilitates communication and continuity of care for patients, accepting accountability for daily operations of their respective units when on duty.

When delivering patient care:

1. The Assistant Nurse Manager Registered Nurse / RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process
2. The Assistant Nurse Manager Registered Nurse / RN assumes the responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on need of the patient and family members
3. The Assistant Nurse Manager Registered Nurse / RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, infection control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided
4. utilized evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act
5. reviewed orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record

Position Requirements/Qualifications: (including required licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge / experience)

Education
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited RN program
Preferred: BSN

Experience
Minimum: 1 year nursing experience in unit of expertise
Preferred: Management experience preferred

Required Certification/Licensure/Registration

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS/PALS/NRP certification as required
