Position Summary Perform work under the supervision of a registered nurse, the patient attendant safety aide maintains constant direct observation and visualization of identified patient(s). Work Responsibilities - Constant and direct observation of patients.
- Monitoring changes in the patient's physical, emotional, and mental condition.
- Observe, communicate and report any changes with patient
- Document observation in electronic health record.
- Support staff with ambulation and mobilization of patients.
- Support staff with personal hygiene: bathing, oral hygiene, nail care, and grooming.
- Support staff with repositioning, feeding, and toileting.
- Other duties as assigned: Personal Protective Equipment Observer: Assist with applying and removing of clinical outerwear of health care professionals. Screener: Assist with wellness screening of employees upon arrival to the hospital.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Understand basic first aid and CPR, and is capable of administering them if need be.

Minimum Qualifications Education Work requires completion of a highschool diploma or equivalent. Experience Work generally requires six months of experience in the hospital setting or an equivalent combination or relevant education and/or experience.
