Saint Joseph's Health is seeking candidates to fill a full time Critical Care Medicine position in the growing Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Opportunities to practice Pulmonary Medicine are present, but the majority of clinical activity will be within critical care. Successful candidates will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care. Medical school academic appointment is available. Academic involvement in the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows is expected.
Candidates must have an MD or DO or foreign equivalent degree and successfully completed fellowship training. They must be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey. Critical Care Medicine and or Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine board eligibility at the time of hire is required.

Approximately 2,100 patients are admitted to the Critical Care Medicine S...ervice per year. In addition to Critical Care Services, a very active Critical Care Consult service, Pulmonary Consult services, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program and a growing Sleep Medicine Program are present.
