General Pediatrics – Clinical Educator Opportunity Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Pediatrician to join our organization in western Massachusetts. Position Highlights – - Join our team of 13 physicians and APPs at High Street Health Center (HSHC), our NCQA-recognized pediatric primary care practice and resident Continuity Clinic in Springfield MA.
- Enjoy a combination of clinical care and resident and medical student teaching with faculty appointment to the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate. HSHC is the primary continuity and outpatient general pediatric teaching site for our Baystate Pediatric and Medicine-Pediatric residents, our UMass and Tufts medical students, and a wide range of other Allied health professionals.
- Team-based approach to care for a large population of underserved urban patients and families with a broad range of medical, psychosocial, economic, and community needs. Fluency in medical Spanish is a plus.
- Outpatient only. Developmental behavioral pediatrics, child psychiatry and gynecology on site. Strong specialty support available at our affiliated Baystate Children’s Hospital.
- Opportunity to develop your niche- our integrated specialty clinics within our office include lead and environmental health, care for patients with medical complexity, LARC, and a multidisciplinary weight management team.
- Community based research opportunities are available.
Qualifications: ABMS BC/BE in Pediatrics and a strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning.
