Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Bellin Health Systems, Inc. located in Green Bay, Wisconsin is seeking a NP/PA ICU Nocturnal Intensivist to join our Intensivist Team. The NP/PA shares with their supervising physician and staff the responsibilities of providing and maintaining a quality, customer-focused, medically appropriate approach to patient assessment, care plan development, follow-up to outcomes, and cost-effective delivery of services.
The Critical Care APC works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team comprised of experienced Critical Care physicians, APC's, and nurses. You will have the support necessary to practice evidence-based medicine in a combined 17 bed medical-surgical-cardiac open ICU. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work autonomously and multitask.
Performing H&P, consultations, and clinical assessments for patients with complex critical healthcare needs. Writing orders, including diagnostic testing and medication orders (non-narcotic and narcotic) to accomplish acute and long-term plan of care. Treating and administering pharmacological therapies, IV fluids, and blood products as needed in acute and critical care situations
Scheduling arranged for work-life balance: Hours: 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. 2 holidays annually Every third weekend
Licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Physician Assistant; ACLS certification, FCCP certification required within one year of hire date.
Applicant must exhibit accountability, flexibility, integrity, good customer service, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently.
Minimum 2-3 years ICU APC experience.
