The professional Critical Care Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of skilled, high quality patient care; for assisting in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing practice in accordance with the Mission of Doctors Hospital and Critical Care Services. He/she demonstrates a high degree of critical thinking, technical skill, initiative, integrity, accuracy and compassionate nursing care in an interdisciplinary practice. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications: Education Required: AS in Nursing A minimum of 6 months RN experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred: BSN / MSN
Certifications Required:
TRAINING: Must have completed an approved Critical Care class and have good arrhythmia recognition skills. Must have taken Critical Care Med Test and passed with 85%
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Active California R.N. license, Health Care Provider BLS and ACLS upon hire. PALS within 6 months of hire. (ACLS for New Grad RNs within 6 months of assuming position).
