Nemours is recruiting a Division Chief, Neonatology at Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This is a level IV outborn NICU with complete surgical and medical support in a single-room intensive care unit in the Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. Ideally situated, Wilmington is a city of 70,000 located in the beautiful Brandywine Valley, just 45 minutes from Philadelphia and within a few hours’ drive of Atlantic beaches, the Pocono Mountains, Baltimore, Washington and New York.The Division Chief will lead a group of physicians, NNPs and neonatal fellows. The program continues to expand with the growth of the Nemours network throughout the Delaware Valley. A new state-of-the-art, single-room NICU expansion is being designed for an opening in 2017. Many innovative clinical programs are being built, and we are seeking an energetic individual to lead our team of enthusiastic neonatologists. The Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children has the only organized neonatal and pediatric ECMO transport program in the region. The referral base includes Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. Academically, Nemours is the pediatric partner of Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of clinical experience and a proven history in a leadership role. Clinical research or clinical educator background is preferred with an academic record that will support an Assistant Professor or higher academic ranking. Requirements:
