The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Critical Care Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine, is recruiting a Pediatric Intensivist to support the development of a dedicated Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care service as an Assistant or Associate Professor in the Clinical or Clinician-Educator track, depending on interest and background. The candidate must have a record of excellence in the clinical care of cardiac patients as well as the desire to develop an academic career in critical care. The successful candidate will join a group of 11 intensivists and he/she will work with the Cardiac Intensive Care Medical Director to develop a state of the art clinical program. Duties will include managing clinical care of cardiac in-patients in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit at the main Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital campus. In addition, the candidate is expected to actively participate in education of medical students, residents and fellows and continue the expansion of our services.

Appointment at either an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at the Yale School of Medicine is anticipated, based on experience and qualifications.
