We are currently seeking 4 Physician Assistants to serve as House PA's/Hospitalists covering: Neurosurgery, Orthopedic & Urology Inpatient and ED consults. Excellent opportunities for individuals who enjoy variety and challenge and can work extended shifts from evening to overnight. Candidates should have exceptional patient-bedside manner, the ability to multi-task and work independently, and flexibility to work with multiple providers. You will perform various functions and technical procedures that are essential for assessment, admission, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and outcome evaluation.
Graduate from an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Program, or equivalent as approved by the New York State Education Department
New York State License Physician Assistant
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) experience
New York State mandated Infection Control Course certificate
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
