Responsible for effectively managing the Tenet WIMS program. Serves as the communication link between the employer, supervisor, injured employee and the Third party Administrator (TPA). Ensures workersï¿½ compensation claims forms are completed and filed accurately and timely in accordance with legal requirements. Administers the hospital return-to-work programs, namely transitional duty and modified duty. Works closely with Human Resources to comply with current state labor laws. Monitors claim trends and reports to A-team and Environment of Care Committee to reduce future work-related injuries and costs. Enters work-related injuries into proper data bases in a timely manner. Functions independently and as a team member. Responsible for recordkeeping and maintaining the OSHA 300 and 300A Logs. Ensures compliance with and documentation of mandatory Cal-OSHA educational programs for employee safety.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent. (2) Simple mathematics, (3) English proficiency, (4) Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRMS, Excel and Word. Is fully competent in scope ofknowledge of federal and state workersï¿½ compensation laws and principles. Demonstrates full and competent knowledge of Cal-OSHA recordkeeping rules and principles.
