The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is seeking board- certified Physicians in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join a team of outstanding colleagues that care for pediatric patients in the Emergency Department at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Academic appointment is available.
Main Line Health’s Bryn Mawr Hospital has a dedicated area and specialized staffing for pediatric patients. The Bryn Mawr Hospital Emergency Department cares for more than 40,000 patients annually including over 12,000 pediatric patients. With a strong inpatient pediatric service and a 24/7 pediatric hospitalist service, our pediatric emergency medicine service has great potential for growth. This program is highly regarded within the local community and holds strong relationships with area primary care physicians.
Physicians will work with the Chief of the Pediatric Emergency Department, who is a fellowship-trained PEM physician with extensive experience and a member of the Division of Emergency Medicine at duPont Hospital. Opportunity exists to participate in conferences and grand rounds together with Pediatric and Emergency Medicine physicians. Enjoy a working schedule with no overnight call responsibilities.
The Division of Emergency Medicine at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE currently includes more than 20 board-certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians. As a member of the division, you will have the opportunity to participate in all conferences and academic activities as well as pediatric department activities at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Main Line Health. Academic affiliation is available through Sidney Kimmel Medical School.
