Observation Care is a 24 bed unit that primarily cares for post-surgical patients, post procedural patients, post intervention, and short stay observation patients. Each bed has the capacity to be a telemetry bed, capable of CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring).
Position Summary This position is responsible for coordinating and providing patient care in a safe and effective manner. Additional responsibilities include directing unlicensed employee activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning of care/intervention, and teaching of patients/family, implementation of treatment plan/MD orders, documentation and evaluation. Integration of patient care standards is incorporated into all clinical activities.

Experience, Education, License/Certifications:
One year acute care Observation or Telemetry experience required.
Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) experience preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN required within 36 months of employment)
