Non-Invasive Cardiologist, Cardiac Intensive Care Director, (CICU) Medical Director
The University of Wisconsin (UW) School of Medicine and Public Health seeks applicants for Academic Faculty positions to join the Division Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.

We seek applicants who hold an MD or DO degree (foreign educational equivalent accepted) with BC/BE in internal medicine, cardiology, and critical care medicine to serve as the Medical Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Additional training in nuclear cardiology and/or echocardiography is a plus. The successful applicant will be charged with leading the change from on open CICU model to a closed CICU. The candidate will be an important team member of several specialized clinical care teams: ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), Cardiogenic Shock, Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT), Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). The candidate will have an active role in the cardiology fellowship training program overseeing the educational activities related to critical care cardiology.
