The department of pediatrics, University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois at OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center seeks a pediatric critical care physician with additional cardiac Training or extensive clinical experience with post-operative cardiac care or dual training in cardiology and critical care for a position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics or of Clinical Pediatrics to enhance a growing division.
The position requires three years of Pediatrics Residency and three years of Critical Care Fellowship and can be tenure or non-tenure.
The ideal candidate will be board-certified/board-eligible in pediatrics and pediatric critical care and will hold or have applied for an Illinois physician’s license.
The position includes patient care services, teaching medical students and residents, and opportunities to pursue research.
Provide clinical consultation services for critically ill patients hospitalized in the unit including children with complex congenital heart disease.
Provide consultation services for physicians and patients in the region with problems requiring critical care.
