Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia integrates Pediatricians into our care model delivery as a Hospital-Physician under the guidance of an attending critical care medicine physician. Hospital-Physicians in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit have the following opportunities available to them:
Be the primary clinician caring for critically ill children alongside excellent Critical Care Medicine faculty, fellows, and partnering with advanced practice providers;
Gain expertise in management of complex, high acuity patients; co-lead resuscitations; develop proficiency in procedural skills; and help families navigate difficult situations
