Patients at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center have access to a medical staff of more than 550 physicians and allied health professionals who practice in a comprehensive range of specialtiesÂ and use the hospital's advanced medical technology. Among the members of the medical staff are surgeons whose specialties include cardiovascular, gynecological, spine and joint and reconstructive procedures.
The Critical Care Tech is responsible for assisting with the implementation of supportive patient care under the direction of an RN. This includes demonstrating competency in strong basic patient care skills, basic arrhythmia knowledge, clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, and performing EKGâ€™s, specific patient care duties and other department duties as requested.Â Primarily works Critical Care Setting but may be floated as needed. Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care while demonstrating service recovery if needed.Â Â Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
