When caring is at the heart of everything you do, millions of patients and their families can breathe easier knowing they’re in the best hands. Northwell Health’s respiratory professionals assist more than 1,500 Mechanical Ventilator patients each year, accounting for around 5,600 ventilator days, and this is just the beginning of our impact. Our talented teams are making a difference for patients with respiratory care needs across the whole spectrum of care, including, cardiothoracic, labor & delivery, pediatric critical care, post-anesthesia, stroke and medical/surgical care in both our hospitals and physician practices.
As a Respiratory Therapist with Northwell Health, you will perform a variety of non-critical and/or critical care procedures, from pulmonary function and arterial blood gas testing to bronchial hygiene therapy and non-invasive BIPAP or endotracheal intubation.
