Henderson Hospital Henderson Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of six acute care hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Located in the suburb of Henderson, the 120-bed hospital, which opened in 2016, offers emergency care, surgical services, including an ambulatory surgery center, cardiovascular care, women's health and maternity services. A level II neonatal intensive care unit is slated to open by late 2017.
Responsible for the monitoring and recognition of continuous electrocardiographic telemetry.
Essential Job Duties:
Performs responsibilities consistent with hospital safety policies. Knows and applies infection control policies and processes when handling and disposing of blood and body fluids. Maintains continuous E.K.G. monitoring of patients. Demonstrates ability to report the document observations accurately and completely. Inform appropriate nursing personnel of abnormalities or changes. Complete rhythm records and logs within the telemetry department and nursing floors. Follows all infection control procedures including cleanliness of equipment. Initiates telemetry hook-ups and removals. Troubleshoots the sending units.
