The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which accepts babies born as early as 22 weeks, is a 31-bed Level III unit. The NICU has earned quality outcomes based on data through the Vermont Oxford database. A part of the NICU is a Neonatal Intermediate Care Unit (NIMC), which provides a step down level of care as our babies grow and prepare to go home. The purpose of the units is to provide a family-centered approach to quality neonatal services, providing the opportunity to make the experience a total family affair and to provide quality, economical, safe care to the well and sick neonates through progressive technology combined with highly skilled, caring nursing services
Valid Texas RN License.
Must be current with BLS and NRP
Qualified candidate must have 1 year of NICU experience in an acute care facility.
