The Staff Nurse plays an important role in the care of our patients.
Demonstrates clinical nursing knowledge and skill in IV Therapy
Organizes and reprioritizes patient care activities based on subtle and overt and/or environmental changes
Develop a care plan based on each individual in accordance with established standards
Continually evaluates the effectiveness of the care plan and makes revisions and recommendations based on the analysis of patient response
Participates in QI, CPI and risk management activities at the unit, department or organizational level
Current licensure as a registered nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing (BSN preferred)
If serving as a bilingual/multilingual interpreter, certification in Medical Interpretation is required to perform the duties of a qualified interpreter.
