Come and join our Anesthesiology critical care team providing tertiary care to critically ill patients at OHSU (a 550-bed Magnet hospital with level-1 trauma designation and the only academic hospital in Oregon) in several different ICU teams. Our units include a state-of-the-art 26-bed CVICU in which all cardiothoracic, cardiology, vascular surgery and surgical subspecialty patients are cared for in an interprofessional care model. The disease spectrum includes patients with ischemic heart disease (PCI & CABG), valvular disease (surgical and endovascular), adult congenital heart disease (non-surgical and surgical), advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, aortic disease, and PVD surgery. We also admit most of our subspecialty surgical critical care patients to this ICU. This creates a practice environment with an excellent mix of surgical and non-surgical ICU patients. Other units include the NSICU, which is a state-of-the-art 17-bed ICU in which all neurology, neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology patients in need for critical care are admitted. We also have a multidisciplinary ECLS team for both VA and VV ECLS therapy. And our newest addition of a telemedicine critical care team. We are looking for an energetic physician who has completed a fellowship training in anesthesiology critical care and wants to join our dynamic ICU team.
