We have an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Critical Care Intensivist to join a collegial employed group in our co-managed Critical Care Units at Banner Boswell Medical Center (BBWMC) & Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center (BDWMC). Qualified candidates are required to be BC/BE Internal Medicine & Critical Care Medicine OR BC/BE Internal Medicine & Critical Care/Pulmonary Medicine.
Details of this position include:
Pure Critical Care Opportunity (No outpatient or Pulmonary)
Patient Volume: 8-12 Patients per shift
Shifts will be performed at either Banner Boswell or Banner Del E. Webb (Locations are only 15 minutes apart)
Work Schedule: 13-12 hour shifts per month, flexible schedule
Daytime in house coverage, 8am-8pm. Nights are primarily covered by telehealth, Intensivists share night call for hands-on emergencies
Banner Boswell’s Intensive Care Units consist of 36 multi-disciplinary beds and a 9-bed step down unit:
12 cardiovascular ICU beds
12 Medical ICU beds
12 Surgical Transition ICU beds
Del E. Web Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ has 404-beds including 24 Medical ICU beds with low acuity patients managed by Hospitalists. With over 600 physicians on staff, BDWMC is the eighth largest hospital in the Valley and has earned the Joint Commissions Seal of Approval for accreditation by demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety in hospitals. In addition, BDWMC is nationally certified by the Joint Commission as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center.
