Under administrative guidance, the Clinic Manager is responsible for the clinical operations within the Transplant Center. Oversight includes managing the clinical staff to ensure services are delivered in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. The Clinic Manager manages allocated resources of staffing and supplies and oversees training and educational opportunities for clinic personnel.
Manage staff and operations to ensure delivery of optimal patient care.
Organize, communicate and implement departmental goals and program objectives within the perspective of Florida Hospital’s mission and values.
Two to four years’ supervisory experience required.
One year of outpatient experience in a physician’s office, emergency/hospital department or outpatient clinic.

Bachelor’s degree in related health field (Preferred)
Critical care, dialysis and/or transplant experience (Preferred)
Management experience related to organ transplantation (Preferred)
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
Registered Nurse in State of Florida

Responsible for day-to-day clinical operation of the Transplant Center Clinic including supervision of employees, job assignments, training, and evaluations.
Assist in evaluating current clinic processes and implement adjustments to operations to enhance services provided.
Establish and implement policies and procedures in conjunction with the medical and professional staff that gives direction in provision of patient services.
Oversee the coordination of patient scheduling and clinic flow; assist in clinic where necessary to ensure smooth operation to the clinical operations.
Assists the Director in identifying resource needs of the clinic.
Facilitate professional working relationships with all physicians by communicating concerns and suggestions to the Director
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement tasks including data collection, on-going meetings, improvement strategies and conduct routine audits of patient documentation and patient care practices
Represent the Transplant Center and participate in opportunities that address public awareness of organ donation and transplantation.
All duties are to be carried out for all patients receiving services by the Transplant Center
Provides knowledge and leadership in delivery of care and nursing practice within the clinical unit of the transplant center
Supervision of clinic employees-includes promotion of teamwork, participation in hiring process, coordinating staff scheduling and job assignments, and conducting staff evaluations
Monitor all patient care staff to ensure competency, licensure, and certification requirements are met and maintained as required for their positions
Communicates regularly with clinic staff to provide education and updates on current clinic issues
Develops, monitors, and maintains efficiency in patient care processes to ensure a safe and positive patient experience
Works closely with IT department to ensure electronic documentation meets program needs with regard to clinical and nursing processes
Ensures the development, maintenance, and implementation of clinic policies and procedures is in alignment with Florida Hospital standards
Ensures all patient areas follow infection control and patient safety guidelines as set by Florida Hospital
Ensures regulatory agency standards are integrated and practiced as routine standards of care within the transplant clinic
Participates as an active member of the transplant center’s management team and communicates effectively with its members
